Highlights
The Parks Division operates and maintains the 109 public parks in the City of St. Louis. The Parks Division receives citizen requests related to the maintenance of park facilities and assets.
Parks is also making upgrades to its services including:
- Moving to an online payment system (PayIt)
- Upgrading the Park Reservation system (coming in 2027)
On-Time Percentage
The Parks Division receives many different types of requests. Based on the type of request they receive, they establish a goal for timeliness that ranges between five and thirty days, depending on the complexity of the request.
This graph reflects how well the Parks Division completes tasks on time. They have a quarterly goal of meeting 80% of their requests on time.
While the Division is falling short of their goal in Q2 2026, trends continue to move in the right direction. In Q1 2025, the Parks Division completed 21.1% of requests on-time. In Q2 2026, the on-time completion rate is up to 67.5%.

This disaggregation of requests by type and by year provides additional context on the different types of requests and the variation in performance between them.
These results are influenced by priority of the request, usually related to its impact on safety, and potentially the length of time that requests may take to fulfill (ex. construction).
