Parks

The Parks Division's 111 parks serve as the anchor for city neighborhoods. They are gathering spots for neighbors to meet at playgrounds, summer concerts, picnics, ball games, tennis courts and lakes. Walkers and runners, bikers and bladers and dogs and their owners crowd the paths and sidewalks. And they can be a quiet oasis in the heart of the city.

Recreation

The Recreation Division offers access to seven swimming pools and eight recreation centers and runs camps in summer, helps students with homework in winter and sponsors sports for youths all year long.

Playtime Recreation

Playtime Recreation provides additional recreational opportunities outside of the City Recreation Centers.  Programs include the the 5-Star After School program, St. Louis Nites Adult Basketball League, and Summer Camps concentrating on topics such as football, basketball, soccer, track, tennis, golf and theater.

Forestry

The Forestry Division is dedicated to improving the quality of life for all St. Louisans by enhancing and maintaing the surrounding environment. It plants the trees that make city streets come alive with colors in the spring and fall and provide shade in summer.
