Summer Day Camp Information for Buder,  Lindenwood Park (Jamieson & Pernod), Marquette, Willmore Park (Jameison and Loughborough).   Cherokee camp is full but is accepting individuals for the waiting list.  Wohl, Gamble, Tandy and 12th and Park camp are full but are accepting individuals for the waiting list.

The City of St. Louis Summer Day Camp is for children ages 7 - 12 at 12th & Park, Buder, Cherokee, Gamble, Marquette, Tandy, Willmore Park and Wohl and for children ages 4-6 at Lindenwood Park.  The camp begins at 9:30 am for all campers.  The Lindenwood Park camp ends at 1pm.  All other camps end at 4:00pm.  Prompt Pick Up of participants is required.  Campers must wear tennis shoes.  Severe Weather will cancel park programs. A USDA approved lunch will be provided FREE at all summer sites.  All center and summer sites will be closed on Thursday July 4, 2013.  Outdoor pools will be open on Thursday July 4, 2013.  All recreation programs are offered in cooperation with the City of St. Louis Office on the Disabled.  These camps are sponsored in part by a grant from the Community Development Administration.

Activities include swimming, arts and crafts, movies, basketball, softball, kickball, chess, archery, and field trips.

Summer program registration begins March 25, 2013.  Spaces are limited and are offered on a first come first serve basis.  You may apply in person at any of the Recreation Centers or call (314) 289-5320 for further information.  Summer camp begins on Monday June 10, 2013 and ends on Friday July 26, 2013

 Summer Pool Schedule

June 10, 2013 - August 2, 2013

A Learn-To-Swim program is offered at each site.  Swimming Equipment/Mandatory Items: swim suits, towels and soap.  Optional items: goggles, masks or swim caps.  For safety swim sessions will be canceled during stormy weather.  The Learn to Swim program and the summer swimming program are sponsored in part by a grant from the Community Development Administration.
