Playtime Recreation

Summer Camps

Playtime offers free summer camps for children ages 7-15 teaching a variety of recreational interests. Camp topic include basketball, cheerleading, creative writing, football, golf, poetry, soccer, tennis, theater and track.

St. Louis Nites Adult Basketball League

St. Louis Nites Basketball is produced in cooperation with the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department and ARCHS. Adult males 18 years of age and older play in a highly competitive league coached entirely by St. Louis City Police Officers. The public is welcome to come watch these young men compete at the Cherokee Recreation Center located at 3200 Jefferson Ave starting at 6:15 PM on Monday, Wednesday and Friday evenings. The next session runs October 22nd through December 21st, 2012.
