Mobile Y

The Mobile Y brings games, activities, and recreation to teens throughout the city who otherwise do not have access to recreation centers.

Program Overview

The Mobile Y, operated by the Gateway Region YMCA, bring sporting and recreational activities to teens in underserved communities in St. Louis. The mobile YMCA is a vehicle that bring healthy social activities to teens to help build relationships and connecting them with ongoing programs and resources that the YMCA and community offers. The Mobile Y not only brings games and recreation to communities, but also connects families to resources to help with financial literacy, housing assistance, mental wellness, and food insecurity.

The program is funded by the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA).

The program is operated by Gateway Region YMCA:   https://gwrymca.org/

Program Eligibility

The program is available to youth and their families who reside in the City of St. Louis.
