Attorney Inmate Visit Request Form
Attorneys must use this form to request contact visits with their incarcerated clients or no-contact visits outside of regular hours.

Overview
Between 8:00am and 7:00pm daily, non-contact professional visits are available to attorneys and their in-custody clients without advance notice.
Other types of visits require you to fill out the form below to give advance notice:
- Between 7:00pm and 8:00am, non-contact professional visits with an attorney are permitted with 1 hour advance notice.
- Between 8:00am and 7:00pm, contact professional visits with an attorney are permitted with 1 hour advance notice.

Preparation
- Confirm that your visit requires you to give advance notice:
- A contact visit with your client between 8:00am and 7:00pm.
- A non-contact visit with your client between 7:00pm and 8:00am.
- Prepare to provide the following information:
- Client first and last name
- Client birth year
- Proposed date and time
- Your name, email address, phone number, and attorney bar number if applicable

What to Expect
You will receive a response within one hour granting or declining your request.
If your visit is declined, a reason will be provided. Reasons may include the following:
- Your client declined the visit.
- The client is already scheduled for medical care, a court appearance or another visit at the time you requested.
- Staff are unavailable to facilitate the visit.
All responses to visit requests are retained by the Division of Corrections and are considered an open, public record and subject to disclosure as outlined in Chapter 610 of the Revised Missouri Statutes.
