St. Francis DeSales Church

The Roman Catholic Church located at 2653 Ohio is designed in the German-American Gothic style.  Construction on the church began in 1895, but a tornado destroyed the structure. In 1907 construction finally continued on the church. The church was modeled after St. Paul's in Berlin and the Cathedral in Frankfurt.
