Clare Sapa

Clare Sapa serves as director of civic engagement for Mayor Cara Spencer, overseeing appointments to more than 150 boards and commissions for the administration. Previously, she served as vice president of operations, public policy, and member services for the Regional Business Council, where she partnered with business and community leaders to advance initiatives affecting the St. Louis region. Clare earned a bachelor of arts in sociology from Saint Louis University and a master of public administration from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville. 

Outside of work, she enjoys crafting with her daughter, dancing to yacht rock with her son, dinner dates with her husband, running on Grant's Trail, reading, and gardening.
