Mayor-elect Cara Spencer is sworn in as the 48th Mayor of the City of St. Louis at twelve o'clock noon April 15. City Comptroller-elect Donna Baringer is also sworn in at the ceremony.
Inauguration Day in the City of St. Louis
Mayor-elect Cara Spencer will be sworn in as the 48th Mayor of the City of St. Louis at twelve o'clock noon, in the chamber of the Board of Aldermen in City Hall, in the presence of the Board of Aldermen, the Mayor-elect shall be installed Mayor of the City. The City Register will administer the oaths. City Comptroller-elect Donna Baringer will also be sworn in at the ceremony. The Board of Aldermen will convene at 11:00 a.m. in the chamber of the Board of Aldermen at City Hall, where newly elected members will present their certificates of election and their names shall be entered upon the roll. The Mayor-Elect will deliver inaugural remarks at the ceremony. All are welcome to witness the swearing-in and join the celebration. A reception will immediately follow in Room 200.
