Summary

This Board Bill amends The Firefighters’ Retirement Plan, City of St. Louis Revised Code Chapter 4.19, more specifically Sections 4.19.050 and 4.19.060, to allow participants who have completed thirty years of service before obtaining the normal retirement age of fifty-five years to receive a normal retirement benefit without having those benefits actuarially reduced due to age. It will also allow grandfathered members with thirty years of service to participate in the DROP benefit without having the contributions actuarially reduced due to age.
