Menu Comparisons

Comparing basic menu options between CommonSpot 5 and CommonSpot 7.

Overview

There are two toolbars in the new version of CommonSpot (CS7).

The top gray toolbar deals with creating new things, and general website information/tools.
The dark blue toolbar generally deals with making changes to the page you are currently looking at.

The images below show the old toolbar on top, with the new toolbar below. The red line shows where the items from that menu have moved.

Most of the Page View menu items are in the blue View menu now. Log Out and Profile are now at the top-right of the page.

The items in Properties & Actions that deal with the current page are now in the Properties and the Actions menus in the blue toolbar.

The items that deal with creating new content have been moved to the New menu in the gray toolbar.

Internal Applications has moved to the Tools menu in the gray toolbar.

Document uploads are now in the New menu.

Page Feedback has moved to the Feedback menu in the gray toolbar.

The View Tutorials menu items have moved to the Help menu in the gray toolbar.
