Hershell Nowlin Receives 40-Year Service Pin

One of four long-time Civil servants recognized for their years of service.

During a brief ceremony in his office last month, Mayor Francis G. Slay presented a 40-year service pin to Hershell Nowlin.

Nowlin began his career with the City in the Health Division in 1971 as an inspector. He currently holds the position of Fleet Maintenance Foreman II in the Equipment Services Division.

Nowlin was joined at the ceremony by several of his co-workers.
