Street Permits and Inspections
Information regarding street permits and other street inspections.
Overview
The Street Department issues permits for activities that take place in streets, alleys, and sidewalks, which are referred to as the public right-of-way. Permits help keep public spaces safe, accessible, and in good condition while construction work or events are happening. If you are planning to build, dig, or block in a street or sidewalk area, you may need a permit.
