SLATE Announces Healthcare Job Fair

SLATE MISSOURI CAREER CENTER, a service provided by the ST. LOUIS AGENCY ON TRAINING AND EMPLOYMENT (SLATE), will partner with Magellan Health Services, St. Louis' leading diversified specialty health care management organization, to assist with a Job Fair for Medical Claims professionals seeking employment. Staffing for this event is provided by area's Missouri Career Centers of St. Louis City, St. Louis County and St. Charles County.

The skill level II Claims Specialist will be responsible for timely and accurate claims processing outlined by the company's claims payment policy and in accordance with customer/provider agreements. Some of the requirements include a high school/GED diploma and 1 to 3 years of experience in medical claims processing. 

All health care professionals are invited to attend this Job Fair. Participants meeting basic requirements will have an opportunity to interview with the Magellan Health Services' staff and some may receive a job offer that day. In order to interview, all participants must be in proper business attire and bring two copies of their résumé.

The Job Fair will take place on Tuesday, July 12, 2011, from 3 to 8 p.m. at Magellan Health Services, 14100 Magellan Plaza, Maryland Heights, MO 63043.

Admission is free but the SLATE Missouri Career Center asks attendees to register online at http://www.magellanhealth.com using Job Requisition #10942.
