Christy Blvd Cycle Track Study

The study explores the feasibility of enhancing bicycle facilities primarily on Christy Boulevard from Kingshighway to Holly Hills Avenue as well as on Holly Hills Avenue from Christy Boulevard to Gravois Avenue.

Background

1st Ward Alderwoman Schweitzer and 2nd Ward Alderman Oldenburg initiated a traffic study that would evaluate the feasibility of enhancing the bicycle facilities primarily on Christy Boulevard from Kingshighway Boulevard to Holly Hills Avenue as well as on Holly Hills Avenue from Christy Boulevard to Gravois Avenue. Additionally, the study would provide recommendations that would slow motor vehicle traffic, reduce crashes, and create a safer and more welcoming environment for all roadway users. An emphasis will be placed on recommendations that can be developed at low-cost and implemented relatively quickly.
