Y-Space

Y-Space is a drop-in center where youth can enjoy a variety of activities in addition to offering scheduled classes and experience opportunities to help community members reach their full potential.

Program Overview

The Y-Space, operated by Northside Youth and Senior Services, is a year-round youth program that features both a drop-in center and a variety of structured youth development activities. The drop-in center provides a computer and gaming room, snacks, board games, and recreational sporting equipment. Additionally, youth-only activities include sports, arts and crafts, STEAM-based enrichment, money management workshops, and work experience opportunities to foster holistic growth and positive development among participants.

The program is funded by the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA).

Program Eligibility

The program serves youth aged 5-18 residing in zip codes 63113, 63107, 63016 and 63115.

Preference is given to those with disciplinary problems in school, those with status offenses, those who have self-referred, and those who have been referred by parents, teachers or community partners.
