Lasting Solutions Family Law Program
The Lasting Solutions Family Law program provides free legal representation and support services to survivors of domestic and sexual violence in orders of protection, divorce, custody, and paternity cases.
Program Overview
Operated by Legal Services of Eastern Missouri, the Lasting Solutions Family Law Program, ensures clients are able to navigate and understand legal processes and procedures. Domestic and Sexual Violence survivors are also connected to other departments that address legal needs related to housing, immigration, public benefits, and/or consumer law. Lasting Solutions prioritizes cases that involve violent crimes and other lethality factors of those vulnerable to violence due to complex social and economic stresses in their daily lives.
The program is funded by the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA).

Program Eligibility
Services provided by Lasting Solutions Family Law are available to any person over the age of 18, that is:
- A victim of domestic or sexual violence
- A resident of the City of St. Louis, or involved in an incident that occurred in the City of St. Louis
- Reporting an income at 200% or less of the poverty line
- Not a representative of a case where Legal Services of Eastern Missouri represented the other party
