Bridget McKenna

Bridget McKenna is a seasoned administrative professional with extensive experience in supporting high-level executives and managing complex operations for the City of St. Louis. In her time with the City, Bridget has shown a unique blend of administrative and logistical expertise, including managing disaster-related grants, coordinating critical incident reporting for the Mayor's Office, and ensuring compliance with both city and federal documentation. She also serves as Secretary for the Local Emergency Planning Committee (LEPC), where she plays an active role in emergency management for the community. 

Previously, Bridget served as Executive Assistant at iHeartMedia in St. Louis, where she supported the Regional President and its senior leadership team, organized regional meetings, and represented the company at career fairs and public events. This role highlighted her ability to foster strong team dynamics and ensure seamless operations. 

Bridget holds dual Bachelor of Arts degrees in French and Political Science from St. Louis University, with studies abroad at Lyon II in France. Fluent in French and passionate about cultural exchange, she has served on the St. Louis-Lyon Sister Cities Board of Directors and chaperoned youth exhange programs. 

In her spare time, Bridget loves to cook and is a proud mother of a college student. An outdoor enthusiast, she enjoys camping in Lesterville, Missouri. She is also dedicated to continuous learning through expanding her techical skills in Python, HTML and Javascript, and maintaining her proficiency in a wide range of software programs and ERP systems. She also is a certified Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) member, following her completion of the Fall 2024 CERT Basic Training through a partnership with the City of St. Louis Emergency Management Agency, the Saint Louis County Office of Emergency Management, and St. Louis Community College.
