Comptroller Green Announces New Leadership

Comptroller Green names Deputy Comptroller, First Assistant Comptroller, and Public Information Officer.

While welcoming the New Year, the Office of the Comptroller welcomes new faces to key leadership positions in 2024. 

Jason Fletcher has been appointed as interim Deputy Comptroller. Prior to his appointment, he served as a Fiscal Operations Support Manager after having managed the Internal Audit section within the Comptroller’s Office. Before joining the Comptroller’s Office in 2018, Mr. Fletcher was a State Audit Supervisor with the Missouri Department of Revenue Field Compliance Bureau for nearly 7 years. Mr. Fletcher is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) licensed by the Missouri State Board of Accountancy. He is also a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the Missouri Society of CPAs (MOCPA), and the Government Finance Officers Association (GFOA). Jason Fletcher graduated from the University of Missouri in St. Louis and earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and a Bachelor of Science in Finance.

Selected for the role of First Assistant Comptroller is Nancy Fesarillo-Wiegand. She has served within the Comptroller’s Office since 2015, managing Federal Grants and most recently as a Fiscal Operations Support Manager. Serving the city since 2009, Ms. Fesarillo-Wiegand worked with the Employees Retirement System for 2 years and the Community Development Administration (CDA) for nearly 5 years. Nancy achieved considerable accounting experience while working in private industry. Nancy Fesarillo-Wiegand earned her Bachelor's degree in Accounting from the Technological Institute of the Philippines.

Occupying the role of Public Information Officer will be Tiara Thomas. Ms. Thomas will be the official spokesperson and direct media contact for the Office of the Comptroller. She is a graduate of Tennessee State University, holding a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science, and is earning a Master's degree in Public Administration and Policy. Before joining the Comptroller’s office, Ms. Thomas served as the Community Outreach Liaison in the Mayor’s Office of Nashville, Tennessee. She holds a comprehensive background in government and public relations.
