Court and Compliance Department
The Court and Compliance Department within the Collector of Revenue employs Compliance Officers to work as a liaison between taxpayers, the Collector's Office, and the area judicial system.
The Court and Compliance Department assists citizens in clearing up unresolved issues regarding earnings taxes, return checks written to the office, and other delinquent obligations.
If a taxpayer has received a court summons, filed bankruptcy, written a bad check, has a water lien against their property, or is requesting a payment arrangement for earnings taxes, the Court and Compliance Department will provide the information and steps needed to rectify the issue and avoid further judicial action or the need to appear in court.
