Filing citizen petitions for recalls, initiatives and referendums to the St. Louis Board of Elections.

Overview
The Charter of the City of St. Louis authorizes three kinds of citizen petitions:
- Recall Petition - Recall an elected official (Article III).
- Initiative Petition - Propose an ordinance or an amendment to the City Charter (Article V).
- Referendum Petition - Request reconsideration of an ordinance (Article VI).
Instructions
In-Person
- Complete all relevant petition materials as required per petition by the city charter.
- Submit all petition materials to the Board of Elections office:

Submissions must be no less than 90 days prior to a deadline.
Fees
No fees associated with submitting a petition.
