Summary

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by this Honorable Board of Aldermen of the City of St. Louis that the provisions of Ordinance Number 71366, listed below, are adopted and affirmed by adoption of this Resolution in recognition that transparency in government is fundamental to forming trust between City officials, officers and employees and the individuals they serve, and the policy and procedures for disclosing potential conflicts of interest and substantial interests established in Ordinance Number 71366 are therefore necessary. We hereby direct the Clerk of the Board of Aldermen to send an official copy of this Resolution to the Missouri Ethics Commission within ten days of the date of its adoption by the Board of Aldermen. We further direct the Clerk of the Board of Aldermen to spread a copy of this Resolution across the minutes of these proceedings and that it be published on the Board of Aldermen website and in The City Journal.
