Honoring Fountain Park and Lewis Place

Summary

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by this Honorable Board of Alderman of the City of St. Louis that we pause in our deliberations to recognize Fountain Park and Lewis Place in the City of St. Louis as they celebrate 25 years of service. St. Louis has a rich history in the struggle of African-Americans for social and civil rights. Fountain Park and Lewis Place played an important part in the struggle for fair housing.
