Honoring Darlene Green and Her Years of Service to the City Of St. Louis
Summary
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED on April 14, 2025 as Comptroller Greens completes her shining stellar 30 years career as the Comptroller of the City of St. Louis, in honor of her impeccable service to the City of St. Louis, and its citizens, the Board of Aldermen for the City of St. Louis wishes to acknowledge the many contributions of Darlene Green to the City of St. Louis as important and significant. Specifically, This Honorable Board in recognition of her love for the City of St. Louis, and its citizens, wishes to congratulate her on the significance of breaking racial and sexual glass barriers by becoming the first Black Woman Comptroller, the First Black Woman to sit on the Board of E & A, the first Black Woman elected as Comptroller of City of St. Louis, and the longest serving member on the Board of E&A.
