Summary

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Aldermen of the City of St. Louis that we pause in our deliberations to direct the SLPS Board to recognize our support of the addition of high dosage tutoring (Must occur for at least 120 minutes a week, in groups of no more than 4 students. with a trained tutor, using curriculum aligned with the science of reading, and that ideally occurs during the school day) for any child who is at least one grade level behind in reading in order to raise literacy rates across the city.
