Summary

The bill proposes changes to Article VII, Section 1, Article VIII, Section 1, Article X, Section 1, and Article XIII of the Charter of the City of St. Louis, and Sections 5.14.080 through 5.14.120 of the Revised Code of the City of St. Louis to create a Department of City Administration to be directed and overseen by a City Administrator. The City Administrator will be the chief administrative officer of the City responsible for the administration of the City's affair placed under the authority and management of the Department of City Administration and City Administrator except as otherwise specifically provided in the Charter of the City of St. Louis and Revised Code of Ordinances and subject to the provisions in the bills.
