Summary
An Ordinance recommended by the Board of Estimate and Apportionment reappropriating certain amounts of funds received under the American Rescue Plan Act of 2021, Pub. L. No. 117-2 (March 11, 2021) (ARPA) specified herein and thereby superseding all other previous ordinances appropriating such funds to the extent such previous ordinances conflict with this ordinance, which ordinances may include but are not limited to Ordinance Number 71393, Ordinance Number 71494, Ordinance Number 71505, Ordinance Number 71554, Ordinance Number 71555, Ordinance Number 71561, Ordinance Number 71591, Ordinance Number 71592, Ordinance Number 71650, Ordinance Number 71694, Ordinance Number 71696, Ordinance Number 71840, Ordinance Number 71841, and Ordinance Number 71864; appropriating certain amounts specified herein in an estimated aggregate amount of $?165,792,148.07? for other purposes, including the paving and repairing of streets, purchasing vehicles for the Refuse Division, constructing the planned Public Safety Access Point (PSAP) facility, and repairing and upgrading our City's water infrastructure; authorizing contracts and other documents to expend the funds, to the extent received; directing all City department directors and managers to identify immediately all unspent ARPA funds and to report the same to the Mayor, Budget Director, Comptroller, and Chair of the Aldermanic Budget and Public Employees Committee; containing a severability clause; and containing an emergency clause.???????
