Choice Neighborhoods Implementation Supplemental Grant
Summary
The proposed bill, recommended by the Board of Estimate and Apportionment, authorizes and directs the Mayor and Comptroller of the City of St. Louis, on behalf of the City, to enter into and execute an agreement with the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development for the receipt of Choice Neighborhoods Implementation Supplemental Grant funding; appropriating the sum of Five Million Dollars ($5,000,000) which the City has been awarded as a Choice Neighborhoods Implementation Supplemental Grant for the Near North Side. The bill authorizes and directs and the Director of the Community Development Administration to contract with municipal agencies, non-profit corporations and other entities, as necessary for the expenditure of the Choice Neighborhoods Implementation Funding.
