Stacey Fowler has been selected as the New Director of Strategic Workforce and Compliance Inclusion

NOVEMBER 3, 2021 - Stacey Fowler has more than twenty years of talent management, workforce development, policy and procedure development, contractual negotiation and compliance implementation. She’s the former M/WBE Contract Compliance Manager with the St. Louis Development Corporation for the City of St. Louis Missouri. Managed the day-to-day operations and supervision of the M/WBE Compliance Department while building relationships with key community leaders, developers, and M/WBE enterprises. She directed and lead the development of programs and services to advance minority-owned (MBE) and women owned businesses (WBE) opportunities for growth and stability. 
 
She is the former Director of Workforce Development for the City of St. Louis Agency on Training and Employment (SLATE) which is the City of St. Louis Workforce Development agency. Stacey is a champion for applying best practices to developing performance-based workforce development strategies. She partners and builds collaborative deployments of effective and efficient career pathway programs. Developing opportunities which produce measurable results that meet Human Capital challenges in employee engagement, growth and retention. A sample list of clients that Stacey has worked with includes; Ballpark Village, MSD, St. Louis Housing Authority and countless other small and medium sized employers. Also, during her tenure at SLATE, she worked as the Adult Services Manager and Reintegration Counselor working with displaced Hurricane Katrina survivors. 
 
She served three terms as 2nd Ward Alderperson for the City of Pine Lawn, Missouri, and advocates for the disenfranchised and underrepresented communities through volunteerism and advocacy. She is an owner member of St. Louis Council of Construction Consumers-Diversity Committee and member of the American Contract Compliance Association.
 
Ms. Fowler graduated from the University of Missouri-Columbia with a BA in Women’s Studies where she also studied Home Economics Journalism and Graphic Design.
