ST. LOUIS PUBLIC LIBRARY'S NOT SO QUIET! CONCERT SERIES ROCKS ON WITH STUDENTS FROM MOZINGO ROCK UNIVERSITY
The St. Louis Public Library's popular NOT SO QUIET! Concert Series is proud to host students (ages 7-17) from Mozingo Rock University for the March concert. The show takes place in Central's Auditorium on March 17 at 7 p.m. Doors open at 6:30 p.m.
Mozingo Rock University provides St. Louis Metro Area Students a rock band experience with vocalists, guitarists, bassists, drummers, and keyboardists that provides a supportive and motivating environment in which to learn, feel inspired, and personally excel.
Eight weeks of students forming and jamming in bands. Eight weeks of learning to move and groove in time with other musicians. Eight weeks of adjusting for all the thrills and spills of playing LIVE. There is only one thing left these students have to do: Play a gig for audience and taste the sweet victory of applause. Mozingo Rock University presents three bands of varying expertise. The bands each play familiar covers and maybe an original song or two.
For most of the band members, this is their first-ever ever for many of these talented students and, possibly, the beginning of a life-long love of the arts.
An all-ages concert, Mozingo Rock University's performance is part of the ninth season of the NOT SO QUIET! Concert Series, which presents exceptional FREE LIVE music every third Thursday in Central Library's Auditorium.
