Mayor Francis G. Slay received the GRO1000 Gardens and Greenspaces national award last month as the U.S. Conference of Mayors meeting. Mayor Slay was honored at the plenary session with a check symbolizing the donations that will given to create monarch habitat areas at the southern portion of the St. Louis Riverfront Butterfly Byway.
