Comptroller Darlene Green has joined forces with PNC Bank and the National Association of Black Accountants (NABA) to host two Free Tax Preparation events at the William J. Harrison Education Center, located at 3140 Cass Avenue, across from Vashon High School.  Taxes will be prepared between 4:30 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 4 and Wednesday, Feb. 11.

Taxpayers should arrive early and come prepared.  They should bring photo identification, social security cards, W-2s, 1099 forms, a copy of last year's tax return and the appropriate banking information for their refund.

Tax professionals will prepare and electronically file 2014 Federal and State returns at no cost to residents.

This year's tax filing deadline is Wednesday, April 15th.
