Beth Seright receives 40-year service pin

Mayor Lyda Krewson held a brief ceremony in her office last month to recognize longtime City employee Beth Seright and to present to Seright a 40-year service pin.

Seright began her career with the City in 1977 at the original City Jail where she handled personnel and payroll duties. Seven years later she transferred to the Health Department to Supervise the Vital Records Section. Two years later she transferred to the Multigraph Section, working 15 years for Peter Joergensen. She then worked for John Zakibe for 12 years in the Comptroller's Office, and she is currently an Administrative Assistant III to Deputy Comptroller Beverly Fitzsimmons.
