Customer Appreciation Week 2014

For the second year in a row, Lambert-St. Louis International Airport will dedicate a week to saying thank you to thousands of passengers and customers. In conjunction with National Travel and Tourism Week, Lambert Airport and the St. Louis Convention and Visitors Commission (SLCVC) will celebrate May 4-10 as Customer Appreciation Week.   

Lambert staff, partners and airlines have a week of special events planned with live music, giveaways and special appearances. This year, passengers and visitors can show off St. Louis with their own #STLfie- that’s a St. Louis selfie. This year, the Gateway Arch and the Saint Louis Zoo will be featured on large photo backdrops in the baggage areas giving people a fun excuse to jump in and take their own photos of climbing the Arch or petting a sea lion. Visitor information volunteers will assist passengers with taking pictures with their smart phones. Passengers can tweet their best selfies with the #STLfies for a chance to win a pair of St. Louis Cardinals baseball tickets from Lambert.  

The weeklong customer appreciation events include music by popular local bands, Monday and Friday in Terminal 1 and Terminal 2. Passengers shouldn’t be surprised to run into their favorite mascot Monday and Tuesday. WB characters from Six Flags Daffy Duck and Bugs Bunny, the St. Louis Cardinals (Fredbird), St. Louis Rams (Rampage), and the St. Louis Blues (Louie) will make special appearances Monday and Tuesday, respectively. Wednesday is Airlines Day. Customer Appreciation Week will conclude with live performances from local bands.

12 p.m.- 2 p.m. Six Flags/WB Mascot Day - Daffy Duck and Bugs Bunny (Terminal 2)

Tuesday (May 6) - Mascot Day

1:30 p.m. St. Louis Blues Louie (Terminal 1)

1:30 p.m. St. Louis Cardinals Fredbird (Terminal 1)

1:30 p.m.  St. Louis Rams Rampage (Terminal 1)

Wednesday (May 7) - Airlines Day

The individual airlines and concessions will hand out candy and other surprises for passengers at the gate.
