The St. Louis Crisis Nursery is holding its annual Celebrity Waiter's Night on Thursday, August 25 from 4 - 9 p.m. at Bravo! Cucina Italiana (314.821.2562), J. Gilbert's Wood-Fired Steaks & Seafood (314.965.4600) and McCormick & Schmick's Seafood & Steaks (314.835.1300) restaurants located at West  County Shopping Center.

Former Director of Human Services Bill Siedhoff will be a celebrity waiter working at J. Gilbert's from 5 - 7 p.m. and will be there for dinner following that. More than 100 celebrities will be working the tables to seek contributions to the Nursery. Last year the Nursery raised more than $80,000 and hope to top that this year.

Some of the celebrities, to show the regional support, include elected officials Mayor Francis G. Slay, County Executive Steve Stenger, Mayor Sally Faith of St. Charles, and East St. Louis Mayor Emeka Jackson Hicks. Some of the television personalities include Mike Colombo of KTVI, Maurice Drummond of KMOV, and Heidi Glaus and Emily Rau of KSDK. Radio personalities include Jamie Allman and John Carney and Larry Conners of KTRS. There are just too many to mention from all sectors! It's really a lot of fun and a great cause for the Nursery that serves more than 7,000 children annually whose families are in crisis.

This will be a sold out event so participants are encouraged to make reservations at one of the restaurants right away! Entertainment will be offered by Ralph Butler on the patio outside the restaurants with food and drink samples available along with a silent auction.
This will be an exciting and fun filled evening and most importantly an opportunity to help kids!  For more information, visit the St. Louis Crisis Nursery website at www.CrisisNurseryKids.org
