The 14th Annual GO! St. Louis Marathon, half Marathon and Marathon Relay are happening this Sunday, April 6th impacting many Downtown and neighboring streets. Below is the full list of street impacts for Friday, Saturday andSunday, please make plans for alternate routes.




Friday, April 4 – Monday, April 7: Site Preparation
Chestnut, from Tucker to 14th Street (9 a.m. – 12 p.m.)
13th Street, from Market to Pine (9 a.m. – 12 p.m.)
Pine, from Tucker to 14th Street (9 a.m. – 12 p.m.)

Saturday, April 5, 2014, Downtown St. Louis
Market, from 18th to 14th Streets (7 am Saturday - Sunday, April 6 at 4 p.m.)

Saturday, April 5, 2014 in Forest Park
The following access points to the park will be closed:
Cricket at Lindell: 6 a.m.– Noon
Union at Lindell: 7 a.m. – Noon
West Pine at Grand Drive – 7 a.m. – Noon
The following entrances will offer limited access:
Clayton Drive from Kingshighway: 7 – 8:45 a.m.
Hampton: 7 – 8:45am

Interstate highway ramps:
Westbound I-64 at 21st Street, Exit 39A (5 a.m. – 3 p.m.)
Westbound I-64 at 3000 Market, Exit 38B (5 a.m. – 3 p.m.)
Westbound I-64 at Forest Park Parkway, Exit 38A (5 a.m. – 3 p.m.)
Eastbound Hwy. 40 at Market/Bernard, Exit 37A (5 a.m. – 3 p.m.)
Westbound I-64 at Chestnut St, Exit 38D (6:30 a.m.– 10 a.m.)


Beginning Sunday, April 6th, streets in the City of St. Louis on the Marathon, Half Marathon and Marathon Relay courses will be closed to all vehicular traffic for the safety of participants. Streets along the course will re-open according to a 14:52-minute per mile pace. Streets to be closed and the closing and re-opening times are below:

Chestnut, from Tucker to 15th Street (midnight – 12 p.m. Monday, April 7th)
Pine, from Tucker to 14th Street (midnight – 5 p.m.)
13th Street, from Market to Pine (midnight – 5 p.m.)
14th Street, from Market to Chestnut (4:30 a.m. – 1:15 p.m.)
Market, from Tucker to 18th Street (4:30 a.m. to 1:15 p.m.)
Market, from Tucker to Broadway (6:30– 8:45 a.m.)
Broadway, from Market to Chouteau (6:30 – 8:45 a.m.)
Tucker, from Olive to Chouteau (6:30 a.m. – 8 a.m.)
Olive, from Tucker to Lindell (6:30 a.m. - 9:45 a.m.) 
Lindell, from Olive to Vandeventer (7 a.m. - 9:15 a.m.)
Chouteau, from Tucker to Broadway (6:30 a.m.-8:45 a.m.)
Broadway/7th Street, from Chouteau to Arsenal (6:30 – 8:40 a.m.)
Lynch Street, from 7th to 13th Street (6:30 – 8:40 a.m.)
12th Street, from Lynch to Victor (6:30 a.m. – 8:40 a.m.)

In Forest Park: Wells, from Macklind Dr to McKinley Dr (7:15 – 10:45 a.m.)
In Forest Park: McKinley, from Wells to Union (7:15 – 10:45 a.m.)
In Forest Park: Union, from McKinley to Theatre (7:15 – 10:45 a.m.)
In Forest Park: Theatre, from Union to Cricket Drive (7:15 – 10:45 a.m.)
In Forest Park: Cricket, from Theatre to Grand (7:15 – 10:45 a.m.)
In Forest Park: Grand/Lagoon, from Cricket to Skinker (7:15 – 10:45 a.m.)
Union, from Delmar to Lindell, no southbound traffic (8:30 a.m. to 12:45 p.m.)
Delmar, from Skinker to Union Blvd., no eastbound traffic (8:25 a.m. – 12:45 p.m.)

Kingshighway will remain open throughout the race and will serve a major thoroughfare allowing north/south traffic. Grand Blvd will be closed at Lindell Blvd from 7:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. I-44, I-64/40, Manchester Rd, and I-70 will remain open as east-west thoroughfares.

Streets in Clayton and University City

Streets on the course in University City and Clayton will be open with limited access. On these streets, runners will have the right of way.

Westbound drivers from Illinois (I-55, I-64 & I-70), who are watching or participating in the downtown events:
Take I-70 West to the Memorial Drive Exit (251B) toward the Arch/Riverfront/Convention Ctr. Take a slight left onto Memorial Drive, turn left on Market Street, continue on Market toward the Start Line.
