MoDOT to Close Lanes on I-44 for Pavement Repairs October 5

MoDOT closes lanes on I-44 for pavement repairs October 5


ST. LOUIS - The Missouri Department of Transportation and its contractor, Pace Construction, will close two lanes on eastbound Interstate 44 starting at 7 p.m. Wednesday October 5 for pavement repairs, weather permitting.

Crews will close lanes between Shrewsbury and Southwest avenues for the work.  All lanes will reopen by 5 a.m. Thursday, October 6.

This work is part of several nights of pavement repairs on I-44 between Murdock and I-55.  Currently, crews are expecting to work nightly until Saturday, October 8, and then resume  the night of Friday, October 14.

Motorists may experience delays during this work and are encouraged to use alternate routes. Plan ahead -- for ways to avoid work zones, call 1-888-ASK-MODOT or visit our website at http://www.modot.org/
