Kingsbury Place-Washington Terrace Historic District

 A Landmark District situated inside the Central West End Local Historic District, Kingsbury-Washington Terrace has some of the finest residential architecture in the City of St. Louis. The private tree lined streets are graced with Italian Renaissance, Tudor Revival, Georgian Revival, Victorian Revival, French Eclectic, and Colonial Revival homes. Designed by some of St. Louis' most respected architects like Labeaume, Russell and Crowell, Hellmuth and Hellmuth, and Mauran, the district is known for its famous entrance gates on Union and DeBaliviere. Kingsbury Place and Washington Terrace were listed as a City Landmark District in 1983.
