International Economic Development Council Conference in St. Louis

Spring Conference will be held June 10-12 Downtown at the Hilton St. Louis at the Ballpark.

The International Economic Development Council will hold its spring conference June 10 - 12 at the Hilton St. Louis at the Ballpark in exciting Downtown St. Louis.

The goal of the conference, which currently has more than 200 attendees registered, is to prepare economic developers to help lead the transformation of their communities' industries; to attract, retain and grow new firms and jobs; and to diversify their communities' economies.

Keynote speakers at the conference include:

  • Daniel Ludeman, president and CEO, Wells Fargo Advisors, St. Louis
  • George Paz, president and CEO, Express Scripts, St. Louis
  • William Peck, Washington University Center for Health Policy, St. Louis
  • Rakesh Sachdev, director, president and CEO, Sigma-Aldrich Corp., St. Louis
  • Chuck Stout, CEO, Tech Manufacturing, Wright City
  • Mark Trudeau, president of pharmaceuticals, Covidien Pharmaceuticals, Hazelwood
  • James Weddle, managing partner, Edward Jones, St. Louis

The International Economic Development Council is an independent, nonprofit membership and research organization with more than 4,400 members across the world.
