Violence Reduction 71864

The City of St. Louis Office of Violence Prevention in partnership with Save Lives Now, a collaborative regional initiative, aims to reduce shootings and homicides by 20% over the next three years. The plan is to develop and implement a balanced approach of intervention, enforcement and outreach using three key strategies: 1) Focused Deterrence, 2) Cognitive Behavioral Theory, and 3) Street Outreach. The money will be used to fund service providers as well as technical assistance to support the design and implementation of the plan.
