A new 25-story high rise luxury condominium tower is planned for downtown St. Louis by the Roberts Brothers. This modern building of glass and steel would allow a panoramic view of the downtown from all units. It would be adjacent and attached to the existing Roberts Mayfair Hotel at 8th and St. Charles St.

Financing has been secured.

The first floor would be part of the hotel; the upper floors condominiums. The ground floor would include conference rooms and meeting space with restaurants and other amenities some shared with the Mayfair Hotel. The ground floor restaurant would open into the proposed new Post Office Plaza.

Because of potential conflicts with the plaza long planned for the same block by Downtown Now!, the Gateway Foundation, and the Danforth Foundation, this project is currently delayed.

The high-rise condominium tower would require underground parking underneath the plaza, hence the delays caused partly by planning and design delays for the urban plaza.

The entire site (tower and plaza) is currently surface parking. A small building housing a Chinese restaurant was demolished in 2002.
