Board of Election Commissioners for the City of St. Louis Announces No-Excuse Absentee Voting Locations and Polling Places for Election Day

Beginning July 23rd, voters can vote a “No-Excuse” absentee ballot at any designated No-Excuse Absentee polling places.

ST. LOUIS—Today, in advance of the August 6, 2024, Primary Election, the Board of Election Commissioners for the City of St. Louis (the “Election Board”) announces, beginning tomorrow July 23rd, voters can vote a “No-Excuse” absentee ballot at any of the Election Board’s designated No-Excuse Absentee polling places.

"No-Excuse" absentee voting is an in-person absentee voting option for all voters during the two weeks before each election. An excuse is not needed to vote absentee during the two-week period. Just show up at one of the below locations during the available hours with a state or federally issued picture ID and cast your ballot.

The following St. Louis Public Library locations are open for voting Tuesday through Saturday between 10 am and 4 pm, and Mondays between 12 pm and 4 pm:

  • Buder Library, 4401 Hampton Ave., 63109
  • Central Library, 1301 Olive St., 63103
  • Kingshighway Library, 2260 S. Vandeventer Ave., 63110
  • Schlafly Library, 225 N. Euclid Ave., 63108 Walnut Park Library, 5760 W. Florissant Ave. 63120
  • The Election Board at 300 N. Tucker Blvd., 63101, is available for No-Excuse absentee voting as well 8 am to 5 pm Monday through Friday and between 9 am and 1 pm on August 3rd.

On Election Day, City voters can now vote at any City polling place.
