Award created by The Ethics Project recognizes community leaders.

Michael McMillan, License Collector of the City of St. Louis, received the Ambassador Andrew Young Award for Outstanding Ethics, Commitment and Service to Family and Community Award, along with other community leaders at University of Missouri-St. Louis.

The award was created by Dr. Christi Griffin, Founder/The Ethics Project, to recognize community leaders who are committed to education, safety and ethics by creating opportunities for our youth to thrive.  She described McMillan as a model Honoree of this award:

"He (Michael) has devoted over half of his 39 years serving other people and never lost sight of his mission as a public servant, nor his vision in making a difference for generations to follow as a real time action model of morals, values and principles."

Ambassador Andrew Young presented the awards to each recipient and gave inspiring remarks to the youth in attendance.
