St. Louis Agency on Training and Employment (SLATE) has named the newest members of the City of St. Louis Workforce Investment Board (WIB) for the term through June 30, 2012.

Michael (Mick) K. Williams is Operations Manager for Unisys Corporation with 30 years of experience in both the private sector and with the U.S. government. In the past 9 years at Unisys, Williams has led a number of projects that showcased his expertise in personnel management, administration, logistics, training, strategic planning and organizational development. At Unisys, Williams uses his extensive IT experience in application and software development to effectively translate customer requirements for complex data analytics into working systems. |

David L. Walker, Jr. serves as a Regional Talent Strategist for Brown Shoe Company, Inc. In his current role, Walker represents his company in a partnership with the Regional Commerce and Growth Association (RCGA) to recruit and retain talent in the St. Louis area, positively impacting regional economic development. By working closely with local senior human resources leaders, Walker helps identify and develop strategies to position the St. Louis area as a valuable potential location for organizations willing to re-locate. |

Jeff Cartnal works as Vice President of Program Development at MERS/Missouri Goodwill Industries. His 20-year tenure at MERS/Goodwill gives Mr. Cartnal a wealth of experience with workforce development as well as strengthening collaborations with various government agencies, community organizations, philanthropic foundations and businesses. |
