Garage and Refueling

Equipment Services Division (ESD) operates 4 garages and 18 refueling sites with 120 full-time employees to support all City divisions except Lambert Airport with vehicle fleet services.

Our customers, the various City operating divisions, are dependent upon their 3,400 vehicles and equipment to perform many of their service missions. Without these vehicles, laws are not enforced, fires don't get put out, refuse doesn't get picked up, snow doesn't get plowed, streets don't get paved, parks aren't mowed, and a thousand other citizen services can't be done.

The labor and materials allocated to the ESD budget as well as to various vehicle replacement programs enables these critical needs to be met.
