Great things happen in the City of St. Louis every day!  We are ready to assist you if you're planning an event.  On this site you will find information about what you need to do in order to apply for a Special Event Permit, rent the City Hall Rotunda, and other helpful information involving event planning.

Delmar Loop

Designated "One of the Great Streets in America" by the American Planning Association, no visit to St. Louis is complete without stopping by this rich social, ethnic, and culturally diverse Historic District. Central West End

This trendy neighborhood has a mix of restaurants, pubs, shops, nightspots and inviting sidewalk cafes, nestled along the edge of St. Louis' treasure gem - Forest Park. Attractions in Forest Park include our world famous Zoo, Art Museum, The Muny Opera, and History Museum. In the CWE you can catch a movie at The Chase Park Plaza and are just minutes away from the St. Louis Science Center. For more information, go to TheCWE.org.

Grand Center

This cultural hub of the region is home to thousands of theatre seats, 1,500 cultural events and a dozen galleries and museums. Attractions include the Saint Louis Symphony Orchestra, the Fabulous Fox Theatre, the St. Louis Black Repertory Company, Sheldon Concert Hall and Art Galleries, Contemporary Art Museum St. Louis, Pulitzer Foundation for the Arts, Jazz at the Bistro and more. The Grove

The Grove is a burgeoning new residential/commercial district that features a variety of independent restaurants, shops, galleries and bars centered along Manchester Avenue, east of Kingshighway.  To learn more, go to thegrovecid.org.

Soulard

Soulard is St. Louis' oldest neighborhood.  Its streets are lined with red-brick townhomes, live music clubs and unique restaurants.  But it really comes alive during Mardi Gras, rivaling New Orleans in its revelry.  Attractions include Soulard Farmers Market.  Want more information?  Go to soulard.org.  

South Grand

St. Louis is home to people from around the world, and the Grand South Grand area represents our international roots and the dreams of immigrants from Ethiopia, Vietnam, Thailand and the Middle East, and European nations, to name a few.  Attractions include many ethnic eateries and shops and Tower Grove Park.  For more information, visit southgrand.org.
