A rezoning is an amendment or change in the boundaries of the Official Zoning District Map which divides the City into individual (“A”-“L”) zoning districts.  A rezoning may be initiated by either a motion of the City Planning Commission or by the filing of a petition by the owner of a property within a zoning district.  To initiate the process, petitioners must submit a petition and a $250 filing fee to the City of St. Louis.
