Michael McMillan Recognizes Vanessa Williams & Her Mother, Helen, during Book Tour Sponsored by Clear Channel Radio

Michael McMillan, License Collector of the City of St. Louis, had the honor of presenting his office's Lifetime Achievement Award to Vanessa Williams and her Mother, along with a host of gifts at the Winning Women's Business Luncheon recently sponsored by Clear Channel Radio. The Mother-Daughter team, Helen and Vanessa, were the special guests at the event to market their book: "You Have No Idea." Each shared humorous and memorable stories about Vanessa growing up; how she faced both her aspirations and challenges; and her relationship with her parents and others she loved on the road to success.

         Vanessa Williams fit the Winning Women's theme perfectly. She is known as a winner for each title she has held whether as Miss America, an Actress starring in productions on Broadway, in movies or hit television series. Along with the Lifetime Achievement Award, McMillan presented them with a host of congratulatory items from St. Louis stores as a token of appreciation for the significant contributions the Williams' Family has made.
