Who can volunteer?

Practicing, retired, or otherwise employed medical professionals, such as doctors, nurses, emergency medical technicians, pharmacists, physicians' and nurses' assistants, mental health professionals, public health professionals and others.

Medical Reserve Corps Volunteers will have the opportunity to receive orientation and training, which will be helping to build a strong and prepared volunteer resource base that can then be rapidly activated during an emergency to help your friends, family and local community.

Medical Reserve Corps members and medical professionals are encouraged to register with ShowMeResponse.org, Missouri's advanced registration of volunteer healthcare professionals database. Registering with ShowMeResponse.org does not obligate you to participate, only increases you capacity to volunteer by notifying you of a need for healthcare professionals in your area.
