Hello Neighbor:
We're continually increasing and/or improving upon our efforts to reach out to residents, educate them about how our City can economically and environmentally benefit from recycling, and promote our new residential recycling pick-up service. A complete list of the variety of ways that we can work with you is posted on our website at http://stlouis-mo.gov/government/departments/street/refuse/recycle/alley-curb-dump-cart-recycle.cfm#outreach. Our newest developments are as follows:
- Facebook. We're using Facebook as another means of connecting with residents about options and updates to our residential recycling pick-up service. "Like" us at http://www.facebook.com/pages/City-of-St-Louis-Recycling-Program/163715647024671.
- Tumblr. Whether blogging or dialoguing, we're educating residents about our recycling pick-up service at http://cslrrr.tumblr.com.
- YouTube. To engage residents in how and why to use our residential recycling pick-up service, we're posting videos on our YouTube channel at www.youtube.com/user/STLRecyling?feature=mhee, whether they're produced by us or residents.
- Postcard. Our "Residential Recycling Pick-Up Service" postcard (pictured below) is being distributed. If you'd like to help, simply let us know how many you'd like (it will also help to know where you plan on leaving them).
As always, we're open to questions, comments, or suggestions.
Respectfully,
Ms. Jill Hamilton
